摘要:

The preparation of 6-deoxy-3-C-methyl-2-O-methyl-D-allose is described. The compound was compared withL-vinelose, a new branched-chain sugar with the same constitution recently isolated, bound to cytidine 5′-pyrophosphate, fromAzotobactervinelandiistrain O; the two sugars were shown to differ in configuration.
