Helminth parasites were recovered from a male Atlantic bottle-nose dolphin (Tursiops truncatus) found dead in Otago Harbour, South Island, New Zealand. The dolphin was found to have a kidney neoplasm. The parasites found were:Synthesium tursionis(Digenea);Anisakis simplex, Skrjabinalius cryptocephalus, Stenurus ovatus(Nematoda);Bolbosomasp. (Acanthocephala);Phyllobothriumsp. (Cestoda).Skrjabinalius cryptocephalusis reported from this host for the first time;Synthesium tursionisandSkrjabinalius cryptocephalusare reported from the Southern Hemisphere for the first time. A checklist of the parasites of the Atlantic bottle-nose dolphin is included. Voucher specimens have been deposited in the National Museum, Wellington, New Zealand.
