AbstractFrom 1 to 14 days after denervation, glucose uptake in the fast extensor digitorum longus and slow soleus muscles in rats was investigated and compared with that of the corresponding intact contralateral muscles. Denervation‐induced atrophy in soleus was greater than that in extensor digitorum longus muscle.
