HighlightsDuring 2008 the chemistry of boryl and borylene complexes has continued to expand and remakable progress has been made. Special mention should be made of the work of Nozaki and co-workers in the development and synthesis of new metal boryl systems. It is noticeable from the quality and quantity of work that is produced in the field of boron chemistry, that boron is seeing a renaissance.
