A comparison was madebetweenthe electrophoretic patterns of isozymes of esterases and glucosephosphate isomerases of adult snapperChryosophrys auratus, suspected snapper larvae, jack mackerelTrachurus novaezelandiaelarvae, and blue mackerelScomber australasicuslarvae. The suspected snapper larvae revealed similar isozyme patterns to those of the adults, but differed from the other two larval species.
