摘要:
The composition of the essential oil from the leavesof Tithonia diversifoliawere studied by capillary gas chromatography. The analysis using a combination of retention indices and combined GC/MS led to the identification of 20 components. The oil contains mainly monoterpenoids (88.2%) out of which 87.4% are monoterpene hydrocarbons and some sesquiterpene hydrocarbons (8%). The major constituent was (Z)-β-ocimene (40.2%).
