We describe the physical characteristics of the Experiment 2B hybrid spectrometer now operating at NAL, consisting of the 30‐inch bubble chamber and wide‐gap optical spark chambers. Details of the equipment and operating conditions are presented. Further details of track reconstruction and bubble chamber/spark chamber hookup software are presented, along with results for 15–200 GeV/c tracks.
