摘要:

AbstractThe first description of sporophytes in BritishDidymodon nicholsoniiCulm. identifies problems of synonymy on a world-wide basis. The peristome is a modification of the normal pottioid type. A sporophytic chromosome complement of 2n= 26 suggests no reason for rarity of fruiting, which appears instead to be influenced by environmental factors.
