Four Waitotaran bathyal molluscan faunas are listed, from localities at Palliser Bay and south-east of Martinborough. Additions to the list of species from the Lake Ferry coral thicket are made.Scaphander flemingiMarwick,Parvamussiumaff.maoriumDell,Retusa oruaensis(Webster),Euthrenopsis venustaPowell,Friginatica amphiala(Watson), andPoroleda lanceolata(Hutton) are recorded from the beds, andTropbon murdochiMarwick is recorded and placed inTerefundus. New species ofLimopsis, Conominolia, andMioawateriaare described, and the status ofPelicaria mangaopariaVella is discussed.Austrofusus incertusKing is placed inBenthindsiaIredale, andMioawateriais classed as a full genus of the Daphnellinae.
