摘要:

Likelihood functions provide a convenient and useful means of summarizing the numerical information that the data has to offer about a parameter or a set of parameters. This paper introduces the concepts of likelihood and likelihood functions and uses these concepts to analyze data from binomial, exponential and Weibull distributions.
