The main ideas presented at the Conference “Highlights in Condensed Matter Physics” are shortly summarized. They might suggest important topics of future investigations in the theory of strongly correlated electrons including highTcsuperconductivity, and in selected quantum and classical systems which are prominent examples of complex behavior in Nature.
