ABSTRACTThe use of highly sensitive meteorite detectors may be impossible under field conditions readily permitting the recovery of surface meteorites by the use of a magnetic cane. Even when conditions are favorable for the use of powerful and elaborate detecting equipment, it may be desirable to employ a magnetic prod to test the nature of objects located beneath the surface of the ground.
