摘要:

Giant specimens ofLepidioncollected in deep water east of New Zealand are referable toL. inosimae(Günther) andL. schmidtiSvetovidov. Both species can be distinguished fromL. microcephalusCowper by the shape of the vomerine tooth patch and by differences in head length and orbit diameter.
