AbstractA morphological and histochemical study ofLeptodontium recurvifolium(Tayl.) Lindb., recently transferred to the genusBryoerythrophyllum, and possible allies, shows that it constitutes a separate, new genus which is described asParaleptodontiumLong, gen. nov.
