摘要:

Standard tests for metal arc welders are based on the quality of the weld, for which many factors are beyond the control of the welder. Therefore tests fail to provide an exclusive measure of the skill of the welder. In this paper, an assessment of the arc length maintained by the welder is proposed as an additional test.
