摘要:
Human portal circulation was investigated by a dye-dilution technique. The dye was injected in the superior mesenteric artery and venous blood was sampled from various parts of the portal system. Blood flow was calculated according to a modified Stewart-Hamilton formula from the dye-dilution curves obtained. The mean transit time, the appearance time, the vascular volume and the vascular resistance were obtained.
