摘要:
AbstractIndian Chokla wool was treated with five different kinds of metallic ions (Fe3+, Mn3+, Ce4+, V5+, Cr6+), and the adsorptive behaviour was studied to elucidate the manner in which wool and the metallic ions were combined. The effect of time of treatment, concentration and temperature upon the amount of the metallic ions adsorbed were examined. Considering the various factors it is suggested that chelate bonds are formed between the metallic ions and the groups present in wool.
