摘要:
In brief: With more people participating in exercise programs, allergists have had to expand their areas of counseling, diagnosis, and treatment to include exercise-induced anaphylaxis and exercise-induced asthma (EIA). Exercise-induced anaphylaxis may require preventive treatment and/or a modification of the patient's exercise program. However, it may be possible to identify and avoid the underlying allergic factors and prevent the anaphylactic reaction without changing the patient's exercise program. EIA is almost universal among asthmatic patients. There are several treatments available for EIA, including cromolyn sodium, aerosol bronchodilators, and/or oral bronchodilators, which allow most asthmatic patients to participate in most physical activities.
