AbstractThio‐substituted dienes bearing an enone moiety were readily prepared from 3‐sulfolenes, and their intramolecular Diels‐Alder (IMDA) reactions were studied. Octahydronaphthalenones were produced in good yield with high stereoselectivity. Hexahydroindenones were also obtained, but the stereoselectivity was
