摘要:
Radioactive mercury, Hg197, was prepared by deuteron bombardment of gold. This isotope was used as a tracer to establish an average concentration of 0.01 mg Hg per m3of air in a particular industrial operation suspected of causing chronic mercurialism. Mercury in quantities of 10−8g was detected, and the method offers possibilities of higher sensitivity and more general application.
