摘要:
Just as a heat engine works between a finite source (produced by burning of fuels) and an infinite sink (viz. atmosphere), it can also work between an infinite source (atmosphere), and a finite sink, converting heat of the atmosphere into work. A relevant factor analysing the work of such heat engines is the amount of work output per unit quantity of heat flowing into the finite sink. Some possibilities of producing a finite sink are discussed and their specific work output capacities are calculated.
