AbstractFrom the hexane extractive of the nutmeg ofMyristica fragransHoutt, glyceryl trimyristate (1), myristicin (11), methyleugenol (12), elemicin (13), dehydrodiisoeugenol (9), 1‐(3,4,5‐trimethoxyphenyl)‐2‐(4‐allyl‐2,6‐dimethoxyphenoxy)‐propan‐1‐ol (4), 1‐(3,4‐methylenedioxyphenyl)‐2‐(4‐allyl‐2,6‐dimethoxyphenoxy)‐propan‐1‐ol (6), and a new compound 1‐(3,4‐dimethoxyphenyl)‐2‐(4‐allyl‐2,6‐dimethoxyphenoxy) propan‐1‐ol (14) were isolated.
