摘要:

The purpose of this expository paper is to explain the construction of exact truncated sequential tests for the mean of the normal distribution when the standard deviation is known. Exact one-sided and approximate two-sided tests are given. The parameters of the tests are described and the effects of the restrictions, known standard deviation and normality, are examined.
