International Conferences for Nuclear Cooperation in Asia(1CNCA) have been held annually since 1990 in order to discuss common issues in Asia and to promote regional cooperation. In the field of utilization of research reactors, several workshops have been carried out in Indonesia and organized by BATAN (The National Atomic Energy Agency of Indonesia) and some topics, such as neutron activation analysis, radioisotope production, safety operation and maintenance of research reactors, neutron scattering, etc., have been discussed since 1992.
