摘要:
3 % of a sudden idiopathic deafness may be due to the presence of an acoustic neurinoma. In six such cases the common clinical findings were: (a) the incomplete recovery of the hearing loss; (b) a significantly reduced caloric response of the affected ear, and (c) a radiologically abnormal internal canal on Stenvers’ projection. A caloric test and a radiologic investigation should be performed in patients presenting with an incomplete recovery of hearing after sudden deafness in order to detect the possible presence of an acoustic neurinom
