Well managed field corn in Florida has averaged 50–70 bu/A, while maximum yields with irrigation have rarely exceeded 125 bu/A. Production of fresh market tomatoes, which in Florida have an annual value of 100 million dollars, varies from failure to 25 tons/A using the common cultural procedures.
