Five species of the antlike jumping spiderSynemosynawere collected in northern Colombia:S. americana(Peckham and Peckham), 5.ankelin, sp.,S. aurantiaca(Mello Leitáo),S. invernarn. sp. and S.lucasi(Taczanowski). A key to the species is provided.
