AbstractHematogenous pigments were covered in an earlier discussion (J Histotechnol11:109, 1988), so this portion is limited to an overview of endogenous pigments and minerals of nonhematogenous origin-autogenous pigments and minerals. Eight pigments and minerals are discussed, and methods are given for their demonstration and identification. (The J Histotechnol13 :71, 1990)
