The advantages of laparoscopic urologic procedures have fueled the desire to push the envelope of operative applications in innovative directions. From the original diagnostic procedures, new ideas, methodologies and technologies have evolved to allow for successful reconstructive uses. In this review, recent work in laparoscopic reconstructive procedures will be highlighted including technological advances and patient outcomes.
