AbstractThe house in whichScience and Public Policyis edited is of special interest during this bicentennial year.In collaboration with the Historic Buildings Committee of the Greater London Council, the Science Policy Foundation, through its sub-committee known as the Friends of Benjamin Franklin House — of which the Chairmen are the Earl and Countess of Bessborough — is having the house restored.The Consultant/Architect is a restoration architect, Donald Insall. Because we have had many requests for information about this house, we give below some historical notes made by the Division of Historic Buildings in the Department of Architecture and Civic Design of the Greater London Council.
