摘要:
SummaryIt may happen in uncommon cases that in opposition to its normal aspects, the Hodgkin’s disease shows an extremely important splenomegaly and also leukopenia.Óut of 200 patients only 4 of the above cases were observed. In two of them the spleen and the liver were invaded and no lymph nodes were found and in the two others, there were multiple adenopathies. The prognostic for those patients is unfavourable.Radiotherapy does not succeed in reducing completely the splenomegaly. There seems to be a connection between the important enlargment of the spleen and the paradoxal leukopenia, as a matter of fact :1°In those forms, the X ray treatment of the spleen seems to increase the number of leukocytes. This is in opposition with the usual results in the irradiated lymphogranulomatosis.2°The spleen hypertrophy (light or not) is more frequently observed among patients sulfering from Hodgkin’s disease with a low leukocytosis than among those with a high one.The obtained graphic is quite regular and does not seem to bo a mere chance.
