摘要:

15(R)-15 methyl prostaglandin E2(PGE2) was successful in the control of life-threatening hemorrhage from gastric stress erosions refractory to maximal surgical and medical intervention. 15(R)-15 methyl PGE2is an inhibitor of gastric acid secretion, aids in healing of gastric and duodenal ulcers, and exerts a cytoprotective effect on gastric mucosa independent of its antisecretory property.
