An electronic device for the detection of bridge balance is described herein. It employs no meters but instead uses a visual indicator tube. The circuit is so arranged that the sector moves only when the bridge is near balance; thus high sensitivity is attained with the small scale available with these tubes. A second tube is used to establish approximate balance and provision is also made for neutralizing small residual signals. In this way minimum points may be determined with a high order of precision.
