ABSTRACTThecotheus africanus, sp. nov.is described and illustrated from elephant dung collected in Kenya and Tanzania.Ascophanopsisis considered synonymous withThecotheusandThecotheus perplexans, comb. nov. (=Ascophanopsis perplexansFaurel et Schotter) is proposed. A comprehensive key to all known species ofThecotheusis presented.
