In this paper we study the correlation between the life time and repair time of the device that arises when two typesAandBof shocks that can occur to it in the case when it is exposed to a cumulative damage process due to typeAshocks and it can with-stand damage of typeBshocks, the repair starts immediately after the failure and all damages are repaired one at a time. We also investigate the cases when the worker avoids damages due to typeBshocks whenever he is alert.
