摘要:
1.When cadmium salts of dicarboxylic acids (adipic, suberic, and sebacic) are heated, two reactions compete: cycloketonization and linear polyketonization. For adipate the predominant reaction direction is cycloketonization; for sebacate the only reaction direction is linear polyketonization; suberate reacts in both directions with commensurate rates.2.The cadmium salts of polyketodicarboxylic acids formed are apparently oxidized by cadmium oxide under the reaction conditions at theα-hydrogen atom to the carbonyl group. As a result, the chains of the salts of polyketodicarboxylic acids are coupled together into space lattices
