SummaryThe analysis of 66 tissue samples obtained from 57 kidney grafts shows good correlation between the immune deposits observed in immunofluorescence and the histologic lesions of rejection. The high incidence of fibrinogen deposits demonstrates the importance of intravascular coagulation in the pathogenesis of graft destruction.
