摘要:

Analysis of the essential oils obtained by steam distillation of the leaves ofEucalyptus nova-anglicaDeane & Maiden by GC/MS reveals that this species exists in three chemotypic forms, all of which are characterized by the presence of large amounts of sesquiterpenes. Chemotype 1 contains large amounts of α-, β- and γ-eudesmol, chemotype 2 up to 80% nerolidol while chemotype 3 contains large amounts of aromadendrene and the related alcohol, globulol.
