AbstractExamination of the variation of the circumpolar speciesC. glareosaWahlenb. and of the closely relatedC. pribylovensisof the Bering Sea area shows that there is considerable overlap in the characters used to separate these two taxa. After a discussion of their geographical distribution in the Bering Sea area, the new combinationC. glareosasubsp.pribylovensisis proposed.
