摘要:
SummaryAmong 57 patients showing ischemic syndrome of the leg, the trouble was due to dilated varicose veins in 7 cases. It is thought that the ischemic disturbance is due to transient arterial spasms secondary to veno-arterial reflexes arising from baro-sensitive nervous endings in the venous wall.Such a reflex could be experimentally reproduced by venous stasis with oscillographic recording of the arterial spasms. The ischemic syndrome of the leg can arise from dilatation of varicose veins, eventually associated with primary arterial factors.
