AbstractThere are two main types of Right of Occupancy recognised in Nigeria. These are registered in adeeds registry., although title registration is applied to a very small area. The demand for Statutory R of O is increasing and is causing problems because of the survey methods used and also because of the lack of up to date cadastral control. Inventory and examination of control networks is being undertaken and some aspects of this work are discussed.
