SUMMARYThe new speciesCephaloascus albiduswas isolated from cranberry pumace in Nova Scotia, Canada. It differs from the only other known species ofCephaloascus, C. fragrans, in assimilating a greater number of compounds and in being nonpigmented and heterothallic.
