摘要:

SummaryFive cases of first malaria attack byPlasmodium Falciparumare reported. In most cases, severe clinical picture due to circulatory, neurological and renal complications were observed. Differential diagnosis with gram-negative bacteremia is discussed. Recovery followed chloroquine and intensive care.Physio-pathology of malignant P. falciparum malaria and of therapy for sensible of resistant P. falciparum to chloroquine are outlined.
