AbstractSet up in 1994, the European Science and Technology Forum aims to stimulate at European level reflection and debate on science and technology from the point of view of their social, economic, political, historical, cultural and ethical aspects. The objective is to broaden and enrich European co-operation in science and technology by including the dimension of reflection and debate and to enhance the debate by setting it in a truly European context.
