Fluctuations of the root-lesion nematode,Pratylenchus indicus, populations in rice intercropped with greengram of redgram in kharif (wet season) and in rotation with two legume crops, viz. horsegram, blackgram or an oil seed crop, viz. mustard, during rabi (dry season) were recorded in a three-year field trial. Nematode populations from soil and root samples were compared at maximum growth, flowering and harvest of all the crops.
