Several 2-bromo-4′-substituted acetophenomes were investigated by vibrational and electronic spectroscopies. The solvent effect on the bands assigned to μCOand μC-Brtogether with the comparison between the fundamental and overtone μCOfrequencies indicate acis/gaucherotational isomerism. The progressive.
