SummaryFrom the present study the following conclusions can he drawn :1) Pressures at rest, in the right heart, seem little influenced by pulmonary excision,2) Moderate rises in right systolic pressure observed in chronic pulmonary patients do not seem to constitute a contra-indication to operation.3) Systolic ventricular and pulmonary arterial hypertension is relatively frequent in T.B. patients with bacilli in sputum. It is still more frequent ir. emphysema and pulmonary sclerosis, especially when respiratory deficiency is complicated by cardiac insufficiency.4) In spite of the considerable extent of pulmonary lesions, we have never found right ventricular insufficiency in T.B. patients with bacilli in sputum.5) E.C.G. rarely foresees a moderate or early right hypertension.
