摘要: AbstractRadical polymerizations in an alcohol, initiated by hydrogen peroxide were found to afford polymers with hydroxyl end groups. The constants of chain transfer to the initiator and to the alcohol were determined for the polymerization of vinyl acetate, isoprene, and butadiene. The results show the influence of the initiator and the nature of the alcohol in the polymerization mechanism.
