Abstract13C chemical shift data are reported for a series ofpara‐substituted 1‐methyl‐1‐phenylcyclohexanes at 22 and ‐100 °C. The magnitudes of the SCS at alkyl and cycloalkyl carbon positions are discussed. The SCS at C‐methyl and C‐4 are significantly different in the two chair conformations.
