摘要:
G protein-coupled transduction is a recurrent theme in cell function. It enables diverse extracellular first messengers to activate intracellular second-messenger responses that produce diverse biologic effects. G proteins, which stand out as uniform and unifying components in the midst of great diversity, may be subject to dysfunctions that have wide-ranging pathophysiologic importance.
